Defeating Cancer teaches you how to be courageous; to stand without fear when living with Cancer and how to work to get rid of it. Cancer is a sickness you don’t fight with drugs but with diet and exercise, your spiritual being, and your strong desire to live.
Defeating Cancer is written by Ikechukwu Patsy, a Cancer survivor, who was born in the late seventies in Nigeria and moved to Belgium in 1997. She became a citizen in April 2009. A month later, Patsy discovered that she has been living with Cancer.
Finding it hard to make sense of her health crises, the pain she was still going through from her cancer treatment and why she finds it so hard to lose weight, Patsy decided to become a Certified Personal Trainer. In the year 2012, she graduated from The European Institute Fitness, United Kingdom. She currently holds a certificate in Clinical Exercise, Nutrition and Weight Management, and on Specific Populations. In her quest to free herself from the pain and suffering the cancer drugs cause inflicted her and the lifelong chronic migraine she had suffered, she started to do research on cancer, diabetes, weight loss and how to find a solution for her and maybe help others. Patsy now busies herself helping people who want to learn and listen to chronic conditions preventions.
